The RHP Series High Pressure refrigerated air dryers are designed to produce 38°F pressure dew points for 700 – 900 psig applications. Gardner Denver RHT Series High Inlet Temperature refrigerated dryers feature a unique design which works directly with reciprocating air compressors. A unique heat exchanger allows the dryer to accept elevated inlet air temperatures, up to 180°F (82°C). This allows compressed air users to send high temperature air straight from their compressor directly to the RHT Series refrigerated dryer and maintain a 50°F pressure dew point. The RHT Series is ideally suited for auto body shops, auto service centers, and light industrial facilities with 5 to 30 horsepower reciprocating air compressors.
Compressed air is compressed and discharged at elevated temperatures in a saturated state. As the air cools through aftercoolers, dryers, or pipelines, the water vapor condenses into a liquid form which then mixes with the normal oil carryover from the compressor. The condensate becomes contaminated by the oil and must be treated before expelling it into a sewer system or onto the ground. The oil must be separated from the condensate and only the condensate can be expelled. The oil must be reclaimed and disposed of in an environmentally safe manner. Designed as an effective and reliable means of treating lubricant-contaminated compressor condensate, the CTS Eliminator II separates oil for easy disposal.
